The Folk Roaster — Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Folk Roaster, our goal is simple: to deliver coffee and products that support clarity, quality, and performance in your daily ritual.
If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.


30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition you received it.

  • Unopened, unused, and in original packaging.

  • Coffee bags must be sealed and not tampered with.

  • Accessories must include all components and tags (if applicable).

  • Proof of purchase is required.

Once approved, we’ll share return instructions and provide a prepaid return label (when applicable).
Returns sent back without approval will not be accepted.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • damaged

  • incorrect

  • faulty

please email us immediately with photos so we can assess the issue and make it right.

We work fast — our aim is to resolve issues same-day whenever possible.


Items That Cannot Be Returned

Because we roast coffee fresh and operate within food-safety guidelines, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or used coffee bags

  • Perishable goods (all roasted coffee)

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange a product is:

  1. Submit a return request.

  2. Once approved, send the original item back.

  3. Place a new order for the item you want.

This ensures your replacement ships as quickly as possible.


European Union Customers — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Customers receiving shipments within the EU may cancel or return their order within 14 days, no questions asked.

Items must still be:

  • unused

  • sealed

  • in original packaging

  • accompanied by proof of purchase

This does not apply to opened coffee.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • refunds are processed to your original payment method

  • please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund
